A Thank You to Chief Reginald Little Brave

Wambli Ho News would like to express its deep appreciation to Reginald Little Brave and his family for inviting our editor, Stephanie M. Schwartz, to witness part of the ceremonies involved in making him Chief of the Black Pipe Clan of the Sicangu Lakota.  These ceremonies were led by Chief Burnette Iron Shell and Edward Eagle Elk in October, 2004 on the Sicangu Lakota Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.  The Board of Directors and the Staff of Wambli Ho, Voice of the Eagles extend all our best wishes and prayers to Chief Little Brave as he carries this enormous responsibility into the years ahead.
